In Japanese, nakama (仲間) means colleague, compatriot, friend or comrade.
As an avid anime lover and major fan of the series “One Piece”, nakama has come to mean so much more. Nakama means that you are a precious member of my pirate crew, a true friend of my soul, that I will protect with my life. Happy Nakama was inspired by love for my friends and the memories that we’ve shared together. The Happy Nakama Cuddle Buddies are the manifestation of that inspiration and friendship.
My Cuddle Buddies want to be your friend. They are searching for their nakama, their forever home. Could that be with you? Each Cuddle Buddy has its own personality and quirks. They all start from my original chibi pattern (now in jumbo size on commission!) and from there they sprout ears, wings, tails, horns, spots and sparkles. They can be dragons, kittens, ponies, squirrels.. and that’s just the ones I’ve discovered so far! I can’t wait to see who wants to be made next!

Happy Nakama 
I am seriously impressed. One of my biggest regrets was not being more incorporated with this group. If only I could turn back time 20 years and do it all again! Way to go Tabby, Dani, Mike (I assume), and crew!
